Racing the Storm portrays the drama of a mythical white horse illuminated by a crack of lightning racing an approaching storm on the high Montana prairie.
This hand-pulled lithograph measures 22.5 x 30 inches (with a deckled edge) and was printed in 1990 by master printer Kent Lovelace at Stone Press Editions in Seattle.
Each color for the print was drawn on a separate plates by Monte Dolack. Each plate was then etched, inked and printed by hand on a flatbed press on premium Rives BFK paper. The size of the edition was 125 lithographs.
